HP Introduces the New TX1 Solution: Available for under $90/month with BlueStar’s Hybrid SaaS model!

BlueStar, HP, Mercury Payment Systems, and pcAmerica have joined forces to revolutionize the way Point-of-Sale solutions are sold in the channel. BlueStar has united the top hardware, software, and payment processing companies to create a complete end-to-end Point of Sale solution for resellers. Leveraging HP’s Financial Services team takes the solution to a whole new level, providing resellers the opportunity to utilize the new hybrid SaaS options.

We know that SaaS models can be complicated to implement as it traditionally requires a change in business model. That is why BlueStar has teamed up with HP Financial Services to create a way for VAR partners to start the transition to offer SaaS-based solutions to end users. This new solution will allow resellers to obtain upfront payment, along with monthly residuals, allowing VARs to maintain their current business model. Not only will this ensure that resellers earn higher margin on the initial hardware sales, but will also increase sales due to additional business opportunities.

BlueStar’s first solution to be provided incorporate HP’s new TX1 Solution which includes the HP Pro Tablet (running on Windows 8.1), tablet stand with mag-stripe reader, standard duty cash drawer, receipt printer, and 4-port USB Hub. BlueStar’s Custom Configuration Department will pre-load the Windows tablet with pcAmerica’s Restaurant Pro Express or Cash Register Express software and will also encrypt the mag-stripe reader with Mercury Payment Services’ key. The product will be packaged together as an In-a-Box solution with everything a merchant would need to set up quickly and easily.
