Marketing is a world in which many VARs and ISVs either have limited experience or simply lack the resources to engage with and utilize it effectively. From direct marketing options like email blasts, telemarketing and direct mailing to indirect options in the online world, it can seem like a rather intimidating step to take, even for companies that have mastered just about everything else related to their business. Despite this, there are solutions available that provide full-scale marketing opportunities and strategies implemented by experts for companies who simply can’t carry the burden of marketing themselves.
“This is the foundation of why VARCOM was founded,” says Jason Firment, business development manager with BlueStar. “We realized a long time ago that many of our customers didn’t have marketing plans, departments or budgets.”
At the ISV IQ Live! conference in Santa Ana, Ca., Firment spoke to ISVs in attendance about the many opportunities supplied through BlueStar’s VARCOM marketing packages.
